Grant-Shannon is now located in the historic Flour Exchange Building in our newly renovated space near the revitalized downtown east neighborhood and still part of the Central Business District of downtown Minneapolis. Our new location is skyway connected and also offers excellent accessibility whether arriving by light rail, bus, bike or auto. There are several convenient parking options if arriving by car.

Street Parking - Best Option

Parking on the street is often available in front of our building or within a couple blocks. Try catching a spot on 4thAvenue, 3rdStreet, or Washington Avenue. Cost is $1.75 per hour. Jerry Haaf Memorial Ramp

Located on 5thAvenue between 4thStreet and 3rdStreet. Cost for the first hour is $4 and $10 for any time longer. Rates may change- especially during events. Ramp accepts cash or credit card. Pay upon exit with credit card or at kiosks located at elevator banks. Payment also accepted by phone using several Minneapolis parking locator apps offering Haaf parking. To get to our office, exit on street level and cross 4thAvenue. In poor weather, stay indoors to our office: take the skyway to the Grain Exchange Building, tunnel to the U.S. Courthouse, then skyway to the Flour Exchange Building. 

Gateway Municipal Parking Ramp

Located on 4thAvenue between Washington Ave and 3rdStreet. The cost is $4 for the first hour and $12 for three hours with a voucher from Grant-Shannon. Rates may change- especially during events. Ramp accepts only credit card. Pay at exit gate or kiosk located on skyway level. To get to our office, exit at street level, cross 4thAvenue and 3rdStreet. In poor weather, stay indoors to our office: take the skyway to the Grain Exchange Building, tunnel to the U.S. Courthouse, then skyway to the Flour Exchange Building. 

Light Rail Access

The closest stop via rail is 5thStreet between 4thAvenue and 3rdAvenue at the Government Plaza Station. Walk one block north on 4thAvenue to our building located on the left side of street. A number of phone apps are available with to-the-minute updates of transit schedules.

Bus Access

The 4thAvenue and 4thStreet stop has service for the following bus routes: 3, 16, 50, 94, 7, 22, 491, 755, 758, and 764. Check Metro Transit bus schedule for specific times and routes.
